Modernity, energy efficiency, and respect for the environment
Through this project, the municipality is pursuing several closely related objectives: modernizing its network, reducing energy consumption, and adopting a more environmentally friendly approach.
The complete replacement of the old lights with LED equipment, combined with Tegis’s control capabilities, now allows for better management of energy consumption while limiting light pollution.
This is a significant development for the region… but also for nocturnal biodiversity, which is particularly vulnerable to these issues.
Tangible results, monitored and managed
The results are visible and, most importantly, tracked over time.
Thanks to the LX Tegis platform, the municipality can continuously monitor and analyze its energy consumption through a clear, centralized dashboard—a far cry from the old Excel-based tracking systems.
Energy consumption related to street lighting fell from 74 MWh in 2020 to approximately 22 MWh in 2026, representing an energy savings of nearly 70%.

The network itself has been optimized, with the number of cabinets reduced from 13 to 8, thanks to in-depth work led by the municipality.
But beyond the numbers, there is also a sense of satisfaction:

- adjust light intensity by zone
- reduce lighting levels by 50% during the middle of the night (10 p.m. – 6 a.m.)
- quickly detect malfunctions
- and control the entire network remotely from City Hall
But above all, it can tailor the lighting to actual needs.

- lighting is controlled as needed

- and in the future, the network will be able to support bike charging stations
