SOFREL S4TH features a standardized automation workshop (standard programming languages such as ST, FBD, Ladder, Grafcet). Its extensive library of ready-to-use HVAC functional blocks enables operators to control heat distribution and regulate energy systems.
The remote regulation unit continuously receives information from the substation’s various equipment (energy meters, flow controllers, temperature and pressure sensors, etc.). It regulates heat exchange, monitors the exchanged power, and can limit it if subscribed thresholds are exceeded.
At any moment, S4TH can send alarms if thresholds defined by the operator are exceeded. For example, teams are automatically alerted if the heat exchanger’s fouling level is exceeded, if there is overheating, or if the circuit lacks water.
Remote monitoring and system optimization
In addition to regulation and alarm dispatching, SOFREL S4TH provides the ability to generate consumption reports and detect deviations.
With the SOFREL S4TH solution, it is possible to compare annual consumption data over time, adjusted for climatic variations.
The real-time data collected by S4TH is automatically transmitted to the supervision system for processing and analysis. The information gathered is used to establish energy reports, calculate network performance, and support the production of regulatory reports.
Thanks to the built-in HTML5 web server, it is possible to directly access information and customizable diagrams from any smartphone or tablet.
Cybersecurity by design
With SOFREL S4TH, cybersecurity is at the core of network protection. Security certificates are deployed to each device, and individual access rights are defined for each user.
To facilitate the management of SOFREL device fleets, the S4-Manager software sits at the heart of the S4 ecosystem. This centralized management solution allows remote configuration of devices and user access (passwords and logins).
