Enhanced IP68 Waterproofing

Often installed in chambers, SOFREL data loggers are frequently exposed to immersion. Thanks to their sealing system and military-grade connector, each logger is rated reinforced IP68 (certified 30 days under 4 meters), allowing operation even when submerged.

Despite being fully waterproof, the device can be opened onsite (no factory return) to access the SIM card and battery.

With its locking ring and clamp system, a simple hand twist is enough to reseal the device and restore full waterproofing.

Battery and Power Management: Up to 10 Years of Autonomy

The high-capacity battery of SOFREL data loggers offers up to 10 years of autonomy, depending on the model and usage.

With low energy consumption, they reduce maintenance costs by limiting battery replacement operations.

Battery life can also be anticipated via remaining energy diagnostics. Battery replacement takes only a few minutes (no factory return) and does not interrupt device operation.

The OpenSensor High Power model features an EPS (External Power Supply) input for power via an external source (battery, mains, solar panel, microturbine, etc.). Ideal for RS485 connections and powering high-consumption sensors.
