LACROIX’s Environment activity provides electronic equipment and secure IoT solutions to optimize the management of water networks, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, electrical grids, and public lighting. By nature, our technologies have a positive impact.
To accurately measure the impact of our solutions, we have developed our own in-depth quantification methodology, inspired by ADEME’s Project Footprint Method.

Our Benefit Quantification Tool
We have demonstrated the net positive impact of our products in various use cases, such as:
• The detection and dimming of public lighting in the city of Douai
• The sectorization and leak detection in the water networks of the Rennes basin.
The impact calculations we conducted on these two concrete cases—lighting (in Douai) and water (in the Rennes basin)—showed that the energy savings generated by our solutions exceeded 40%.
With this tool, we have demonstrated the net positive impact of our products in various use cases, such as:
The detection and dimming of public lighting for the City of Douai

In the case of the city of Douai, the smart public lighting solution enables a 43% reduction in energy consumption and a 37% decrease in greenhouse gas emissions..
The sectorization and leak detection in the water networks of the Rennes basin

The remote management solutions for drinking water networks implemented in the Rennes basin have led to a 45% reduction in energy consumption, a 45% decrease in GHG emissions, and a 45% reduction in water consumption lost to leaks. Energy savings are calculated based on the volumes not lost thanks to remote management (energy related to pumping, water treatment, and distribution).
