SOFREL Chlorine is a complete solution (SOFREL LS42 datalogger + probe + mounting kit + cables) for the measurement of free chlorine online in drinking water distribution networks.
This connected and energy-autonomous solution regularly measures chlorine levels in the network at scheduled intervals.
If a threshold is exceeded (above or below the established chlorine level), the datalogger immediately sends an alarm to the operators and the central monitoring system.
With its 4 digital inputs, SOFREL Chlorine allows measurement of up to 4 meters (indices, volumes, average flow rates, etc.), and optionally, the solution can be enhanced with a CPR pressure sensor to assess service quality.
An easy-to-implement solution
The probe support is fixed to a pipe (steel, asbestos cement, cast iron, PE, and PVC-O) under pressure without interrupting water distribution. The mounting kit includes a collar designed for installation on pipes with an external diameter of 70 to 335 mm.
To simplify commissioning, the chlorine probe is configured directly in SOFTOOLS and is powered and controlled directly by the SOFREL datalogger.
