Positioned at the heart of the system, the FR4000 gateway centralizes all communications from SOFREL telemetry equipment and transmits data via Ethernet (LACBUS-PC protocol) to the operator’s SCADA systems.
This data exchange solution can be used over private APN networks — which offer a fully secure barrier against unauthorized access — or over public APNs. In the latter case, the SG4000 software is required to secure data transmission.
